Did you know that plain white vinegar is an amazing disinfectant?!?!

For basic cleaning mix 2 parts water to 1 part vinegar in a spray bottle.  Spray and wipe. 

For heavier cleaning, for me when hubby insists on using my counter top to chop up raw meat (gag) I use pure vinegar.  LOL  Probably overkill but it makes me feel better.

If you don’t like the smell of vinegar, cut a lemon in half and rub the meat part of the lemon on the surface you want clean/disinfected.

In both cases the acidity will kill the germs.

Try it, but not on marble counter top!!  The acidity will chew up your marble.

Here’s the back story. lol

I have two young male cats. One is Jack, about 2 years old and fixed. The other is Oliver, just turned one and NOT fixed. Jack was fixed because he started to become aggressive, Oliver is a sweety so he’s ‘intact’.

We have strays in the neighborhood. Big, mean, OLD tom cats that think they own the world.

Oliver got out and pretty much got banged up a bit and decided that ‘inside’ was MUCH nicer. lol

Where the major problem came in was MY boys and the boys outside debating over whom owned my front door. *sigh*

My guys peed on the INSIDE, the toms peed on the outside. The smell was horrible!!

I tried baking soda, I tried salt. Put a little gasoline in front of the door. I even borrowed the neighbors Freebreeze and tried it. NOTHING!

I was about to break down and buy some bleach to try when I had another idea.

Canvas Bags by Tim Minchin

On the plus side, canvas bags are multi use and hold TONS more than the junky plastic bags.
The do pay for themselves quickly in that you don’t have to worry about them breaking and dumping your stuff all over the parking lot!

I’m not normally one to spread stuff like this around, as most of it is spam, bunk or just a plain waste of time. This however DEMANDS the immediate attention of EVERY Canadian citizen with a voice to cry out!!
